How can I help you?
My Theory
Everything I do is based on biological facts. Over the years I’ve developed my own theory, which you can read about fully in my book.
The basis
The human body is an extraordinary piece of engineering. We are made of trillions of cells, all carrying out their individual roles without you ever being aware of it.
Every second, your autonomic nervous system is triggering thousands of chemical reactions throughout your body.
Which chemicals are produced at any given moment is largely influenced by your thoughts and belief system. Those chemicals then influence how your body feels and how it behaves.
Much of our behaviour is unconscious and automatic. We respond to situations based on what we believe is happening and what we believe we should do.
Most of the time, we are simply reacting to our internal programming. When x happens, I do Y. A pattern response.
In that sense, there is no free will.
But once you understand the programme, you can start to change it.
And that’s where real free will begins!
Life coaching
I qualified as a life coach, hypnotherapist, and NLP practitioner in 2004. I also hold a diploma in counselling, although counselling itself isn’t the approach I prefer.

Trauma Release
It is sad how many of us have suffered traumatic experiences. Probably everyone on the planet to some extent or another! Even a one off encounter can shape a response within you. Your autonomic response system can hear a noise, smell a smell, taste something that elicits a response. An unconscious memory.
What happens when you have lived with traumatic experiences? It shapes you. Your belief systems, the chemicals that run your body, the way you behave towards the world. There is rarely a conscious choice to how you behave.
Trauma is ingrained within every part of you. Your body is made of trillions of cells. All making up different parts of you -bones, organs, muscles, nerves.
Outside of all the bits we have, we have connective tissue called fascia. Fascia is like our bubble wrap. It fills up all the space within our body holding everything in place. Helping things to move freely and protecting it from harm.
If you have lived with trauma, your fascia is used to tensing. Every time you tense, your fascia tenses. Cortisol, the stress hormone, dehydrates the fascia and makes it sticky causing fascial adhesions. Fascia thickens making movements harder. Each microcontraction you make defensively can make fascia tighter or it sticks together making movement restricted and imprints a somatic memory of traumatic events.
There are a number of ways to release trauma from the body. These are what I offer
Talking therapy:
Sharing is caring right? Talking about your experience enables you to zoom out from the situation. Looking at it from different perspectives. Seeing it differently. Once you see things differently you don’t necessarily feel completely healed. That fascia is still locked. Your nervous system is still responding.
Meditation/ Hypnotherapy:
Guided meditations, relaxation, hypnotherapy. Releasing your body from responding to the past trauma as though it was still continuing.
Energy therapy:
Another meditation but more powerful. We are made up of energy. It’s a scientific fact that energy vibrates. When trauma is stuck in the body it causes energy blockage. By going into deep relaxation we focus on the energy moving it around the body until you come to a blockage, During the meditation we break down the blockage, washing it away. Releasing the trauma from the body.
Yoga:
Yoga strengthens and stretches not only muscles but it stretches the fascia as well. Where once there was tightness, yoga releases. Where there is injury, yoga stretches. There is often a lot of trauma and emotions stuck around the hips. A yoga flow designed to release trauma, help you open your chest and use your voice more. It’s a beautiful flow that helps release you from trauma and build a better you.
